Nehemiah 6: Keeping Focus

✅As the work on the wall continued, the enemies did not give up trying to distract Nehemiah and his team. There are many things that seek our attention as leaders- not all are bad things, but the goal is the same to take our eyes off the track. Do not give in.
✅ Remember that You have been called with a higher calling. Honor God with all your heart, soul and minds. V. 3
✅ Fear- if the enemy cannot get you directly, he will use fear v. 8. Use 2 Tim 1:7 to counter any fear that occurs.
✅Not all enemies are external, sometimes sabotage is within. Pray for a discerning heart ❤️.
✅ Understand expectations so as not to fall into sin. Nehemiah was enticed to go to the temple…. And he was not a king. Therefore he would have sinned before God.
✅✅ With God on our side we can achieve much.
